Moldon wheels are a type of solid rubber with little or no tread, which makes them ideal for the heaviest loads. These have higher load capacities than solid rubber wheels, and aluminum is a lightweight structural metal that has proven strength.
These wheels are best suited for smooth warehouse floors where they can roll easily. The defining feature of the moldon wheel is its excellent load capacity.

I needed replacement wheels to fit a 5/8" axle with 1 5/8" - 1 3/4" hub length. These aluminum wheels by Wesco are PERFECT. They're more than replacements, they're improvements.

We priced a new compressed gas cylinder truck for use here at the winery, and decided that for a fraction of the cost, we could replace the wheels, which had worn thru the hubs after eleven years. Hopefully this set will last another eleven. Plus they look great, and they are very happy in their new home. (Surrounded by 360 barrels of wine, who wouldn't be happy?)
