The Wesco Spartan III Hand Truck is the most versatile hand truck in the Wesco Spartan line. The 45 degree position allows your cargo to be transported at an angle, alleviating the stress on your back and arms. The Spartan III is equipped with a built-in 27 inch folding nose extension to help secure bulky cargo. This hand truck boasts a 500 lb load capacity in the vertical and the 45 degree 4-wheel position, and a 750 lbs load capacity in the 4-wheel horizontal position.

I have a yard full of Kentia and other palms. Many are in pots and are quite heavy. I also have too much stuff in my garage, so this will help move it around until I finally get rid of stuff. I like quality contractor/commercial tools, so this will fit in my pile of quality stuff. Only down side it is could have been made easier to convert - it's not terribly difficult, but I've seen better designs in that regard.

Have not used on grass, so not sure how the smaller wheels will do. There is not a lock when set up as a horizontal four wheel cart, so it will be the weight of the items to keep the frame clipped in place. However, the unit performed as expected for an indoor show. Loaded and broke down in two trips each, one for art work and one for panels.

Well built hand truck. Wish i had thought of our need for stair rails though. If i could add stair rails to this model, i'd buy another for sure!

At our independent school district we have received a large quantity of heavy state testing boxes for which we utilized the hand truck and it worked great for us.
