This is a great cart, not just good enough. The kick out wheels make heavy items a piece of cake to thread thru doorways and uneven surfaces. I moved a gun safe with this cart about five blocks, late at night and it was no problem doing it.
This is a qualty cart and USA made. The wheels are big and roll easy even on rough surfaces. The strap has a hook link on each end with a spring retracting spool to make securing items to the cart easy and very solid. All welds on the cart are well done, not sloppy.
At first I had my doubts about the expence of this cart, but now I couldn't be happier with it.

I've had mine 23 years and even though I'm not in the antique appliance business anymore, I won't get rid of it, it's too handy! Mine is the older 72" tall model and is rated at 1500lbs. I recently moved a friends 6 foot tall gun safe from one house to another all by myself! Those kick-out wheels are great for standing on to get the leverage to tilt those really heavy items.

Q1: What kind of mechanism is used to get the loaded cart UP the stairs?
A: This hand truck has stairclimbers on each side in the rear of the hand truck. When going up stairs these stairclimbers have a belt that rotates as it makes contact with the stair back. As you pull the hand truck upward the belt rotates and aides your lifting process.
Q2: When the hand truck has the back wheels extended what is the distance between the back and front wheels?
A: There is a distance of 16 inches between the front and back wheels.
