I use this hand truck to move some heavy musical equipment (amps, speakers, etc). It's not terribly ideal for large heavy things due to its size, but the slight awkwardness of use is countered by the fact that this hand truck is both highly portable and tough. I haven't had any trouble with 150+ lb. loads, and because it folds up, it's easy to take it along for the ride. I would imagine that it would really shine with small loads, such as airport luggage.

The wheels on the first Genie Pro I recieved didn't lock out. I called the manufacturer who told me I had a model that has proven problematic. [...]. The replacement arrived [...] and it works great. It's very easy to fold out, the wheels lock into place, and there's no finger pinching! I haven't loaded it with more than 100 lbs yet. But it seems sturdy. I mostly use it to collect composting materials from stores & shops, but I can see myself using it for moving potted plants and other misc. items. For the price, I believe this is a great little hand-truck. I'm especially pleased with the company's service!

I'm a professional photographer who takes a good amount of gear on the road with me for shoots. This particular cart has the job of hauling a very cumbersome 50-lb case that contains a battery pack and power inverter. Before I had this cart, I dreaded taking the power pack anywhere! Now, it's a lot easier on me and my assistant to maneuver the power whee it's needed.

This hand truck was simple to use, sturdy, handled all our boxes with ease and made our daughter's move to college much easier. The base is large enough to hold items securely, and when you are ready for storage it folds down easily and to a compact size. The wheels are a good size as well. The price was great too.
