Before purchasing this item, I did my homework. Biggest complaint among the less expensive models is the shoddy construction and height of the handle (too short). This model is not aluminium, it's steel, and it's plenty high enough (I'm 5'10). This item will haul not only the books I bought it for, but easily capable of carrying my heavy tool box, luggage, and just about anything else you can think of. Careful, this is NOT an appliance dolly and DOES have its limits! Rated weight limit is 250, I think. Read the directions!! I give this my recommendation.

I like it a lot. I do wish that the handle would lock in the down position like it does when it is extended. It would make it easy to carry if the handle locked in the down position so you could use it to load & carry it.
